Platform Extension — Pet Traceability (Colombia)

Scope note: This brief is a sister-vertical extension of the FluxCow / TuVaca platform, not a cattle deliverable. It is included here as evidence that the same Member/Leader hardware tiering, mesh topology, and modular NTN connectivity carry over to a different biological-asset class (companion animals) under a different national mandate (Colombia). Cattle-specific work lives elsewhere in docs/00_business/briefs/ and the broader docs/ tree.

1. Executive Summary & Strategic Context

JAAB Tech is spearheading the hardware strategy for a high-priority National Traceability Initiative in Colombia. This far-reaching project defines the standards for the identity, health monitoring, and location services of a domestic animal population exceeding 100,000 dogs and cats.

Strategic Vision: Beyond Simple Monitoring

This initiative is designed to transform urban animal management through three core pillars: 1. Public Health Oversight: Automating the vaccination census and health verification processes via seamless digital identification. 2. Citizen Security: Providing a rapid-recovery mechanism for lost or stolen animals, reducing abandonment, and enhancing urban coexistence. 3. Digital Sovereignty: Establishing an independent, government-supported IoT network for advanced urban management, free from proprietary vendor lock-in.

Operational Status & Investment

This project has successfully transitioned from the conceptual stage to the secured investment phase. Funding for the initial large-scale deployment is already confirmed. We are currently in an agile solution-design and partner selection stage, where we are identifying the core technology co-developers for direct integration into the national ecosystem.

The "Binomio Digital" (Digital Pair) ROI

A fundamental innovation of this approach is the "Binomio Digital" logic. By linking a permanent, passive identification (ISO 11784/11785 Microchip) with an active monitoring layer (Smart Collar), we achieve 100% Identity Integrity. This "Digital Pair" ensures that the location data from the collar is always mathematically tied to the specific biological identity of the animal, providing the high-fidelity data required for public health and law enforcement actions.

Implementation Environment

Our hardware must be optimized for the extreme demands of Colombian geography, ranging from high-density urban environments with significant RF interference to semi-rural areas with limited traditional infrastructure.

2. System Architecture (Data Flow)

The following diagram illustrates the integrated data flow between the animal, the urban infrastructure, and the public management cloud.
