Partner Profile: Gosuncn (China)

Category: Hardware ODM / NTN Tracker Manufacturer Key Contact: Jason Hong (hongjiachun@gosuncn.com) Origin: China (via Yong Hou intro)

Overview

Gosuncn (Rich-Link) is a Chinese IoT device manufacturer that we are evaluating as a potential ODM for the Leader Node (Collar Tracker). They have an existing ruggedized tracking platform that aligns with our NTN connectivity requirements, though customization will be needed to support our Two-Tier Mesh Architecture and Edge Intelligence strategy.

Hardware Platform: GL103S

The GL103S was originally designed for vehicle, asset, or equipment tracking. We are evaluating it as the baseline for our Cattle Tracking Leader Node.

Key Specifications: * Connectivity: 3GPP Release 17 IoT-NTN, Cat-M, NB-IoT. * Power: 4,500 mAh replaceable battery. Designed for up to 5 years (with daily data collection). No native solar charging. * Sensors: GNSS (Location), Temperature, Accelerometer. * Durability: IP68. (Housing reinforcement recommended for farm/cattle environments). * Pricing: Sample price is US$65.00 FCA Hongkong.

Customization & Evaluation Path

To meet the "Infrastructure-Zero" architecture, the GL103S will need to be customized: 1. Mesh Receiver Integration: It must act as the gateway for the local herd, requiring a Sub-GHz/LoRa radio capable of continuous Wake-on-Radio / CAD listening. 2. Firmware Sovereignty: JAAB Tech needs the ability to run Zephyr OS and custom edge intelligence logic (to filter NTN traffic to exceptions only). 3. Memory Architecture: Requires sufficient external flash (4MB-8MB) to buffer logs during satellite blind spots.

Next Steps

  • [ ] Conduct technical alignment call with Jason Hong (Scheduled post-May 6, 2026).
  • [ ] Verify DMIPS/Memory constraints on the GL103S platform.
  • [ ] Determine feasibility and NRE costs for adding Sub-GHz Mesh reception.
