AI Assistant Project Log

This document tracks the project state and strategic context from the perspective of the AI assistant to ensure continuity across sessions.

Status Snapshot: 2026-05-09

1. Project Identity & Branding

  • Commercial Brand: TuVaca (Lead brand for external/producer communication).
  • Internal Project: FluxCow (Technical name for repo, code, and ADRs).
  • Corporate Entity: JAAB.tech (Institutional umbrella).
  • Strategic Pivot: Terminology refined to be field-friendly (e.g., "El Rodeo es la Antena", "Collares Líderes", "Caravanas Miembro").

2. Architectural & Strategic Baseline

  • Topology (ADR 0007): Mobile Star (Cluster) for MVP. Mesh-capable hardware is used, but mesh firmware is deferred until battery/stray-cow data validates its necessity.
  • Roadmap (ADR 0008): COTS-First MVP Strategy. Prioritizing off-the-shelf components (Blues Notecard, Nordic dev kits, GlobalSat) to accelerate market validation and reduce initial CapEx.
  • Pricing: Targeting <$50 all-in for 3 years (Aspirational/On-hold pending COTS data).

3. Key Intelligence & Research

  • Globalstar (Mobiltrack): Validated as Plan B/Regional backhaul. RM200M is a candidate for Leader Nodes.
  • Nordic Semi (ION Assoc): Primary silicon partner. Focused on nRF91 (NTN) and DECT NR+ (Massive density).
  • Blues (Skylo): Notecard for Skylo identified as the "fast-track" for satellite backhaul. Blues Mojo selected for real-time energy consumption awareness in the field.
  • Endrich: Active partner for NeoMesh (NeoCortec) and Wirepas as COTS mesh alternatives.

4. Critical Open Items (Top 3)

  1. R-11: Next Milestone Lock. Phase 1/2 cancelled. Need to define a concrete commercial pilot or fundraise event within ≤4 weeks.
  2. COTS Validation. Benchmarking unit cost and battery life of the Blues/Skylo stack against mass-market targets.
  3. Sovereignty Audit. Assessing the impact of "Notehub" vendor lock-in vs. the speed of using Blues technology.

5. Repository Health

  • Taxonomy: Reorganized into 10-section taxonomy (00_business to 99_assets).
  • Consistency: Broken links fixed; contradictory decisions reconciled via ADR 0007/0008.
  • Backlog: P0 (Core PoC) tasks are identified and ready for execution.
